Monday 11th March - walk *** – Around Felixstowe – cloudy and a tad chilly.

We had agreed to have Maeva again for a few hours this morning picking her up at 10.30 which just gave me enough time to do my exercises. It was a grey day with a chilly breeze from the NW so not very inspiring but we headed to Walton Church to see the magnolia and daffs which brightened the day, we continued onn through the town and had a brief stroll along the prom to the Spa theatre and back up the pram walk with Maeva fast asleep! Then home, I gave Maeva a bottle which was great then Mag put her in a seat on the worktop in the kitchen so she could have her lunch and help Mag bake, she absolutely loved it and was full of smiles, she is such a star! Her Dad picked her up at 2.40 which gave me enough time for a quick spin around Felixstowe on my bike.

Bike *** - Two river, Orwell to the Deben.
Leaving at 3 I set off in the chilly gloom down to Langer Park ending up at Felixstowe dock view point with not much happening on the Orwell! Continuing onto the new footpath out onn Landguard jetty and back through the nature reserve and round to the prom. I continued onto Felixstowe Ferry to take a few pics before whizzing back across the golf course and home to make a hot water bottle, have a cuppa and a yummy piece of Mags pineapple upside down cake:)
I was well chuffed to get a pic a pic on ITV’s About Anglia after a lean spell, got to love Chris Page:)
